Well established and growing company with 300 employees has an excellent opportunity available for a Director of Sales & Marketing.  This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the East Coast, Northeast, or Midwest areas. 

 

This position will be involved in B to B sales & marketing strategies.  Implementation of promotional campaigns and the marketing policy in order to optimize the visibility of the products.  Experience in pressure tapes, labels, flexible packaging, blown film, rigid packaging, plastics, paper, coatings, polymers, polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, thermoplastics, extrusion or polyolefins would be a plus.  This position will be involved in B to B sales & marketing strategies.  Implementation of promotional campaigns and the marketing policy in order to optimize the visibility of the products.  Experience in pressure tapes, labels, flexible packaging, blown film, rigid packaging, plastics, paper, coatings, polymers, polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, thermoplastics, extrusion or polyolefins would be a plus.  This position offers a competitive base salary, bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

 

The Regional Sales & Marketing Director is increasingly invited to play a key role in the digital transformation of the company to invest in the digital marketing sphere; strengthen the company’s presence on the Internet (via a website, publications on social networks, and possible the implementation of an e-commerce platform); to integrate tools that automate (and therefore increase efficiency) the management of contacts with customers (customer relationship management software; e-mailing platform).

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Supervision of the sales and marketing teams.
  • Organize sales and marketing activities.
  • Identify individual and collective coaching needs.
  • Facilitate the flow of information and interaction between teams and with other. departments (production, finance, purchasing, management, etc.).
  • Directly manage relationships with key accounts and negotiate strategic contracts.
  • Travel in US and abroad (Latin America) to support and lead local teams.
  • Define the regional company’s marketing strategy aligned to the global strategy: the objectives, the associated marketing action plans, their specifications, the provisional budget, the performance indicators as well as the marketing mix for each product (product/price/communication plan/distribution). 
  • Development of the sales strategy and management of its deployment.

  • This job often requires a minimum of 10-years of professional experience as well as solid team management experience; ideally in a similar sector of activity.
  • BS degree required.
  • B to B experience (Industrial one may be a plus).
  • Capability to understand technologies (papers & films, printing and converting techniques).
  • Good command of a complex value chain.
  • Good command of office automation and management software (CRM).
  • Excellent command of sales techniques.
  • Ability to deal with direct & indirect sales channels:  merchants, printers, converters and end users at all levels.
  • Excellent command of marketing & management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent command of English (Spanish a plus).
