Job Description

Multi-billion dollar company, with over 10,000 employees has an excellent opportunity available for a Sales Account Manager.  This is a remote position that can be located in PA, NY, NJ.  This position will be involved in key account management and some new business development.  This position offers a very competitive base salary, bonus potential, comprehensive benefits and company car.  


Job Duties:


  • Plant, organize and implement a sales strategy for assigned territory.
  • Work with all market segments, product lines to identify key sales growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical team to identify customer unmet needs.
  • Support OEM programs.
  • Collaborate with M-Segments and Tech-Managers; developing deep relationships leading to specifications.
  • Conduct OEM industry focused technical seminars to develop brand identity and new development projects.
  • Support organic growth in geographical territory.
  • Identify areas of development; JV/M&A/Investment.
  • Work closely with primary distributors in assigned territory.
  • Expand brand recognition and value within the industry.
  • Lead participation and planning in industry events within market specialty and/or geography.
  • Work closely with Business Development Manager.







Job Requirements

  •          Bachelor’s degree
  •          50% travel required
  •          Three to five years of sales experience in North America; specific relationships in chemical industry, plastics, coatings and technology manufacturing.
  •          CRM experience
  •          Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
  •          Ability to travel within Northeast Territory and globally to support business development and business meetings.
  •          Experience in polymers, thermoplastics, polyolefins, PVC, compounding, extrusion, masterbatch, injection molding, HDPE, LLDPE, polyethylene or polypropylene would be a plus.
