Job Description
Our client a precision automotive supplier that manufactures powertrain components has a need for a Program Manager to join their organization. They have a 200-employee high volume forging & machining manufacturing plant with a 3-shift five-day operation. This is not a remote opportunity; must be on-site. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered for this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Primary customer contact for technical projects/concerns
- Develop and maintain APQP process for all new projects
- Create cost calculations for quoting of potential projects
- Ensure projects launch successfully on time and within budget
- Manage multiple projects while sustaining strict record-keeping and project organization
- Maintain communication of project status to all appropriate team members, including Senior and Executive Management and all departments
- Ability to work in and lead multifunctional teams
- Ability to plan and prioritize
- Investigate and develop cost-saving initiatives and continuous process improvements
- Know and understand Quality Policy and Procedures
- Support production engineering function when required
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Requirements:
Job Requirements
o BS Engineering
o 5-7 years related experience in program management, project management, and/or manufacturing engineering
o High volume automotive component strongly preferred
o Forging and/or Machining experience strongly preferred
o Tier 1 experience preferred
