A very successful company in the plastics equipment / plastics machinery industry that has been in business for over 25-years has an outstanding opportunity available for a Sales Account Manager. This is a remote position that will be based in the Midwest. The Sales Account Manager will be involved in key account management and new business development. The position offers a very competitive base salary, commission potential, car allowance and comprehensive benefits.
Requirements:
Business development and account management.
The territory covers: Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Develops relationships with customers and understands their needs.
Develops marketing strategies and establishes yearly sales forecast for U.S. in conjunction with the VP of Sales.
Develops new accounts and maintain existing accounts.
Works with engineering and production to ensure all customer specifications are met.
Follows up with customer after the sale to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Develops and prepares customized sales presentation.
Promotes equipment and services to the plastic industry and tradeshows.
Follows up on leads generated by marketing.
Knowledgeable in CRM management and works with Pipedrive CRM.
Collaborates with the engineering department in assessing project requirements and feasibility.
Approves quotes and forwards to customers.
Follows up and provides timely status of outstanding quotes and projects.
Participates and represents company at trade shows and conferences.
Learns technical features and operation of equipment.
Plans, organizes, and participates in sales department meetings.
