Currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Kansas. You must be a US Citizen/Green Card Holder. Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving product flow and throughput, procuring proper equipment and tooling, designing fixtures and dies, and assisting in the development and maintenance of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field required
Five or more years of manufacturing engineering experience required
Five or more years of manufacturing engineering experience in a heavy metal fabrication industry preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Strong mechanical abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Good time management skills
Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Strong knowledge of plant operations
Good understanding of forming, welding, machining, and fabricating
Knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office software
AutoCAD experience preferred
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and pools preferred
