Our client has been an industry leader in providing and manufacturing home environment products for over 100 years. They are looking for a Second Shift (3:00-11:00) Injection Molding Process Technician at their Fort Worth, TX location.

Skills

• Work with the qualification of molds, mold revisions and prototype molds on first and subsequent tryouts until mold has been deemed production ready.
• Robot programming with various types of equipment
• End Of Arm Tooling troubleshooting and repair
• Establish molding processes on all new molds using processing methodology.
• Document all pertinent information for new molds to ensure successful hand off to manufacturing.
• May assist I.E. in new projects including set up, packaging, work cell layout, and operator ergonomics.
• Documents all standards for established processes.
• Seeks out external resources to keep current with processing methods, equipment, technical information and development of a new process.
• Trains and develops technical skills in shop personnel.
• Trial out new equipment and technologies on the floor.

• Plastic injection molding technology.
• Robot Programming and EOAT experience
• Metrology and GD&T.
• Statistical methods.
• Wide range of experience in plastic resins.
• Various inspection equipment and gauges.
• Basic mold design and function. Some knowledge of tooling.
• Troubleshooting of molding process and resin capabilities.
• Proper operation of equipment.
• Ability to recognize and correct molding problems.
• Basic to advanced P.C. skills.
• Experience in Automotive field
