Our client, a multi-industry provider of foundry products based in Northeast Ohio, has an opportunity available for a Second Shift Industrial Electrician.  This is an on-site opportunity.  Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES:

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures following code compliance using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects for adjustment and repair.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.
• Communicate across various levels of the organization to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure production conformity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses and repair/maintenance.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved to make equipment repairs including the ability to use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
• Visualization of how something may look after it is moved or when its parts are moved or rearranged.
• The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (i.e., patterns of numbers, letters, words pictures or mathematical operations).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeymen Certificate or equivalent.  OSHA ARC Flash Training.
• Heavy manufacturing electrical experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable wearing FULL RESPIRATORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT
• Standing and bending for long periods of time.
• Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
