Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage projects for larger clients.
• Provide expert knowledge to clients from an engineering perspective.
• Work with other department leaders and team members and aid when needed.
• Create and improve process flow for projects.
• Research and develop new manufacturing processes.
• Analyze manufacturing data and suggest improvements.
• Analyze quality control and correct flaws.
• Manage & grow engineering team members and facilitate training.
• Review existing validation reports.
• Create new reports and verifications.
• Be a leader in SOP documentation for engineering and all the departments that engineering is partnered with internally.

• Minimum BS in Packaging, Plastics Engineering.
• 5-10 years of industry experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Skincare/cosmetics packaging experience preferred.
• Knowledge of high precision metrology.
• Proficient with the use of Design for Manufacturing, SPC & DOE.
• Understand 3D and ability to read 2D.
• Working knowledge of GMP, ISO rules and regulatory requirements.
• GD&T experience with tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Passion for finding solutions.
• Proficient in design to manufacture.
• Proficient in tool design and improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Demonstrated written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
• Experience in plastic injection molding, thermoplastics, HDPE, LDEP, LLDPE, polymers, polyethylene or polypropylene would be a plus.
