Food packaging company with multiple manufacturing locations has an exciting opportunity available for a Director of Sales.  This is a remote position and can be located almost anywhere in the United States with the exception of the West Coast.  This position will manage between four and eight employees.  You will be responsible for and involved in:  distribution, product strategies, pricing strategies, trade shows, growth strategies, sales strategies, key account development, new business development, and working with customers.  This position offers an excellent base salary, bonus potential, car allowance and comprehensive benefits.

• Must have at least seven years of experience in packaging sales and have a background working with distributors.
• Must have at least three years of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience in thermoforming, blow molding, injection molding, thermoplastics packaging, extrusion, polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE or paper packaging would be a plus.
• At least 50% travel is required.
