BS Engineering degree (Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical).
Ten years of success in package development in the food industry.
Strong project management and organizational skills, demonstrated technical problem solving ability, and clear/effective verbal and written communication.
Able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities and to effectively negotiate project requests and priorities to optimize resource utilization.

Exposure to a wide variety of packaging materials, particularly paperboard and flexible films, and related testing methodologies. Able to apply statistical methods in the design of test plans and in data analysis.
Broad understanding of product/package interactions, food processing, quality, and packaging machinery.
Design and coordinate laboratory and plant tests to assess technical feasibility in the qualification of packages, materials and vendors. Collect test data, interpret results, formulate conclusions and communicate recommendations to influence business decisions.
Take broad leadership roles on projects. Positively influence at all levels within and outside the organization to promote effective working relationships in support of the team’s objectives. Work directly with other functions to establish and manage priorities.
