Fast growing manufacturing company has an excellent opportunity available for a

Lead Quality Assurance Coordinator.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develops and maintains company quality standards.

  • Provides mentoring for other quality team members.

  • Authors and revises quality specific SOPs and reviews and approves quality aspects of manufacturing related SOPs.

  • Formulates, documents and maintains quality control and assurance standards and on-going quality control objectives.

  • Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company.

  • Actively participates in production meetings with the manufacturing team.

  • Oversees the product manufacturing processes and systems and their application to ensure quality.

  • Oversees the quality operations within the manufacturing department (sampling, testing, analysis and measurement) and the efficacy of the overall quality program to ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction.

  • Ensures ongoing quality improvements within the facility.

  • Reviews products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to identify and implement improvements.

  • Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.

  • Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other business leaders to maximize product quality.

  • Investigates quality issues and develops effective corrective actions.

  • Represents the team to our customers and suppliers in quality related issues.

  • Leads any necessary certification and re-certification efforts for the team.




  • Ten plus years quality management experience.

  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of calibration and Gauge R&R.

  • Impeccable communication, presentation and organizational skills.

  • Critical thinking and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Ability to successfully partner with team members and stakeholders from multiple backgrounds.
