Function:

Very successful and growing plastics and polymers company is searching for a Sales Account Manager.  This home based position could be located in the Chicago, IL area, St. Louis, MO or in Wisconsin

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma – minimum
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or Technical Field preferred
  • Technical background in plastics, color matching, pigment and additive selection, various plastic processing preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling in polymer industry, preferably in the polymer industry, preferably additive or color masterbatches
  • Strong financial and business acumen; solid understanding of financial analysis and analytical modeling techniques used to project the company’s market capabilities
  • Project management skills:  concept phase through commercialization; proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, problem-solver, capable of managing multiple projects, a team player that enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Goal and results oriented; consistently acts with a sense of urgency and drives execution
  • Leadership:  demonstrated ability to lead commercial programs resulting in substantial profitable revenue growth
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong written communication skills and presentation ability
  • Open minded and willing to learn and expand current skill-set
  • Demonstrates ethical and moral behavior; unquestionable integrity and character
